Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the father of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. As a 13-year-old, Richard Bruce moved with his parents to Casper (in the state of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's land conservation districts.
