Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous for her naive roles that are charming and likable. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings who grew up when she was a kid in Castle Rock, Colorado. Her birth was during the time that her father was employed by the U.S. Military in Italy. Then, in the latter part of 1990s, she began professional dance and acting with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to a regional theatre located in Minnesota which was where she got her first role in a mock documentary film on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her screen debut was a huge success where she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet moved into Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. She was in numerous acclaimed movies in the subsequent decade such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film from 1954).
