Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 on an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics coach who would become Comaneci's coach later on, discovered her at age six. The year 1969 was the first time she participated in the Romanian Junior Games and finished 13th. She won in 1970. At her first international contest in 1972, she won the event by winning three gold awards. At her first competitive event at a senior level Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals aswell with one silver. She became the first female to do the reverse double salo of the bar with a parallel surface after winning the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment business by performing in the form of figure skater. Together with her brother Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer in her teens. She began her career when she joined her sister Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling show of entertainment. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating performances.
